Information for Preschool Families
Attendance
David Douglas preschools are offered to families who are residents of David Douglas School District and live in the David Douglas catchment area.
If your student is accepted into one of our David Douglas preschools and your family moves outside of the District during the school year, they can remain in the preschool for the remainder of the current school year only but they will no longer be able to access District transportation. Families will need to self-transport for the remainder of the school year.
It is an expectation that all of our students attend 5 days a week for the entire school day and maintain 90%+ attendance to participate in our preschool program.

Parent Handbook:
Preschool for All (PFA) Handbook: PFA has created a handbook for all families in addition to the David Douglas parent handbook.
This handbook is available in six languages: English, Dari, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Russian, and Vietnamese.
For families that have been accepted into Preschool for All:
Welcome to David Douglas! Registration for preschool will begin Thursday, June 5th between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Just come into the school your child will be attending and we will make sure your registration is complete.
*Please note: the last day for schools is Friday, June 13th. If you are unable to register before June 13th, you will need to register when schools reopen starting the week of August 25th.
- All registration must be completed no later than 3:00 pm on Thursday, August 28th.

- Please fill out the registration packet, the preschool bus information form, Preschool Attendance Contract, and Preschool Questionnaire forms found below and bring them into the school you are signed up for.

Preschool Bus Form:
David Douglas is able to offer transportation to/from preschool for children who attend their home school (the school they will be going to Kindergarten at). If your child will be attending their home school and you are interested in having your child ride the school bus, please fill out the following form and bring this in along with your registration.
